Luke's homeschool history class is studying American history this year.
We were all invited to a Hoedown yesterday. I had some pretty excited cowboys and a cowgirl.
Especially the cowboy on the right! Irina appears very nervous in this photo, but she was excited too.

We enjoyed a full service chuck wagon, country line dancing, and lassoing games. (I think I enjoyed the line dancing more then the kids. It brought back memories of my college days!) The students in the class each did a presentation on cowboys.
What a fun diversion for a Monday morning after the time change.
