Over the weekend, the fish tank was finally ready to add fish.
Ethan was SOO excited to go pick out our new fishy friends.
(This was part of his 8th birthday present.)
He chose a dalmation guppy and a red and gold tuxedo guppy.
It was hard to get a picture of our new family members because they wouldn't smile for the camera. (Thanks Mr. B for the joke!) Do you see Flash near the bottom in the middle? And Spot is on the right near the top.
This is our first experience having a pet. I'm glad they are very low maintenance and QUIET. The kids spend a lot of time watching the tank. I have to hide the food so they aren't tempted to over feed the little guys. Ethan told me this morning that next he wants a snake, and then a frog, and then a lizard, and then a turtle, and then a dog and then a horse, etc., etc.. Oh my!
